Gurudwara Data Bandi Chhod Sahib
The Gurudwara Data Bandi Chhod is situated in Gwalior, MP. Ths Gurudwara was built in the memory of brave act of Guru Hargobind Sahib, he was the Sixth Guru of Sikhs. He set free fifty two Rajput rulers from the prison of Jahangir, then Mughal Emperor. This Gurudwara signifies the long battle that Guru Hargobind Singh Ji fought against the Mughal Emperor. This Gurudwara is built by white marble and it has 6 storeys. The Gurudwara is decorated by many beautiful paintings and idols that depict the brave story of Guru Hargobind Singh Ji. This Gurudwara was built by Sant Baba Uttam Singh Ji in 1968. The administration now is controlled by Sant Baba Sewa Singh Ji. This Gurudwara has gates that are covered with gold and looks beautiful.
This is another Historic Gurudwara in Delhi. This Gurudwara is located on Pandit pant Marg, presidents’ estate, New Delhi. It serves as a memoir of Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh’s sacrifice. This is where his beheaded body was cremated. The 9th Sikh guru was beheaded at Chandni Chowk by Mughals and his body was rescued and cremated and at Rakabganj, the current site of Gurudwara. The building is made of white marble and surrounded by a beautiful garden.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Gurudwara is built in Dhubri which is a small town in Assam near Brahmaputra River. Guru Nanak Dev Ji came to Dhubri town in 1505 AD during his travel to Assam from Dhaka. During his visit to Assam Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru met Shrimanta Sankardeva who is known to be an important figure in the religious history of Assam. After Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Teg Bahadur came to this place in the 9th century. This Gurudwara was set up by him later in the 17th century. Three copies of the Guru Granth Sahib are placed here in a rectangular porch.
Gurudwara Bhatta SahibThe Gurudwara Bhatta Sahib is located on the highway which leads from Chandigarh to Kulu and Kangra valley, Gurudwara Bhatta Sahib is located 5km away from Ropar near the bank of River Sutlej. This Gurudwara is built in the memory of the tenth Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The tale of this place is very interesting. According to the story the brick kiln which was red hot called as bhatha became cool due to just a touch of Guru’s horse’s hoof. The chief of Ropar at that time was Nihang Khan. He took care of Guru Bhatta Sahib as well as his followers. Guru Bhatta Sahib has visited this place many times. He next came to this place to attend the marriage of Nihang Khan’s son.
Sri Hemkund Sahib Ji
Sri Hemkund Sahib Ji Gurudwara is covered by snowy mountains and is located in Uttarakhand, India. Hemkund means snow bowl. The Gurudwara is built at an altitude of 15,200 ft. It is inaccessible due to the snow covered paths and the only way to reach here is on foot from Gobindgath. This Gurudwara is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh Ji. This Gurudwara was started on the Havelock Road location in March 2000. The Gurudwara opened its gate for the devotees on 30 March, 2003. This Gurudwara is built by the Sikh devotees who came to London in Fifties. It has a beautiful structure built of granite as well as marble with dome covered with gold. Gurudwara Bangla SahibGurudwara Bangla Sahib is situated ½ km away from Connaught Place in Delhi. It is built to commemorate Guru Harkrishan Dev Ji. He was a royal visitor of this palace in the year 1664. The palace after his visit became a holy place and is also called as Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. The temple has a pond situated in its premises. The water of this pond is considered to be holy and has healing capabilities and is called Amrit by the devotees. The Gurudwara also has a museum which shows the history of Sikhs. It was a small temple constructed in 1783 by Sardar Bhagel Singh. The Gurudwara has a beautiful dome made of gold. This Gurudwara originally was a palace called Jaisinghpura.Palace.

The Guru Nank Darbar Gurudwara is situated in Dubai. It is the biggest Gurudwara in the Gulf Region. This Gurudwara was inaugurated on 17the January, 2012. It is built with Italian marble and there is a five star kitchen in it which is so beautiful. This is a perfect example of spirituality and modernity combined with affluence.
Manikaran GurudwaraManikaran Gurudwara is situated in the middle of River Parvati and River Beas on the Parvati Hill in Manali. It is built at a height of around 1760 m from ground. This Gurudwara is located 45 km away from Kullu. The Sikh Founder, Guru Nanak Dev Ji came here in 1574 together with his five followers which included Bhai Bala and Bhai Mardana. This Gurudwara is built by Sri Narain Hari Ji in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Guru Nanak Dev ji found a hot water spring here and performed a miracle by making the uncooked food disappear. The food reappeared cooked. This miracle is also narrated in Bhai Mardana’s.autobiography.
Gurudwara Ber SahibThe Gurudwara Ber Sahib is located in Sultanpur city in Kapurthala state. This place is the starting point to Guru Nanak Dev Ji journey as a sikh Prophet. When Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru came here, he used to bath in Kali Bein River. He planted a Ber plant here which is the main attraction of this place. Guru Nanak Dev Ji remained at this place for almost 15 years. According to a story when he was bathing in the river, he saw a light in it and he got disappeared in the river and came back after 3 days. After coming back he started teaching Sikhism and became a Sikh Guru. Baba Jasa Singh Ahluwalia constructed a memorial on this place which was again constructed into a beautiful building, made up of mosaic and marble in the.year.1942.
Sri Harmindar Sahib
This is the Gurudwara which popularly known as the Golden Temple. This Gurudwara is situated in the heart of Amritsar, Punjab, India. It was built by fifth Sikh guru Arjan Dev in 1605. Originally it was a small lake where people meditated. Guru Nanak lived and meditated here, later on his disciples converted the site into Hari Mandir. Maharaja Ranjit Singh gifted marble sculpture, golden gilding and precious stones to the temple. The lake is fed by an underground spring. It has four entries signifying openness and acceptance to all faiths. The majestic Gurudwara offers sublime tranquility and peace. One visit is must for everyone.
